Carl Jung twice encountered the phrase "the origin of the wind" -- once from an illiterate psychiatric patient in the US, and once in a colleague's research paper about ancient Mithraist prayer ceremonies. These connections beyond millennia, culture, and geography helped lay the underpinning for his later ideas about the collective unconscious, and the connections we share beyond conscious institutions of our minds.

This album was recorded between Iran and Turkey, mostly in Tehran and Adana.
